Kolesarska pot Radovna

The apostolic life of James was broken by the sword and his remains were transferred to Spain to Santiago di Compostello. Due to the pilgrimage route that led to it, this city became an important cultural center for the whole of Europe.

Medieval compost pilgrims usually continued their journey from Santiago to Cape Jacob’s Path of Finisterre (End of the World) along the Atlantic coast, where they collected shells attached to a pilgrim’s cloak or hat as confirmation that they had reached the goal of their pilgrimage.
